This vid clearly stated that the 2010 stang out performs the too heavy challenger in the 1/4 mile and in the handling tests too, and is only .2 sec off the camaro which is 111hp more in the quarter mile. Mustang wins in my book!

I like the Mustang for one reason – Challenger and Camaro are GOVERNMENT MOTORS cars. Obama does not get a penny from me.

  3. topnosxrson 11 Jan 2010 at 6:41 pm

i dunno where you saw that video. the challenger has horrible handling compared to the camaro and the mustang. the mustang is actually just a bit better at handling than the camaro but slower. im not hating just your info was off =/ lol

Is your mom retarded????? It clearly states the challenger is better on the open road and you get waaaayyyyyy more bang for your buck with the Challenger and the Challenger is worth the extra dollars! **** Shitstangs! MOPAR RULES!!!!!!!!!

  5. JohnnySanchez1on 13 Jan 2010 at 10:52 pm

are u retarded, at 2:16 it says the GT out handles and outperforms the Challenger

Transaxle leaf spring? or regular dependent leaf spring with dampers or springs. When ever you launch, the car goes forward and the weight is shifted to the back. Launch setups usually depend on weight distribution.

What I would like to see, is a true RETRO MUSTANG! Ford should make it look almost like the 1964 or 1965. Now, that would be nice and very nostalgic!

  8. Nebula735on 22 Jan 2010 at 11:28 am

Leaf springs actually are the best for launching because it allows the axle to twist under the springs causing the weight the be put on the rear wheels. With a coil spring setup the weight doesn’t go the rear wheels that well and doesn’t allow you to transfer weight very well.

I love how all these companies brought these cars back, but the mustang actually out handles all of the cars in the G-pull and handling. I watched a video on here done by someone similar to Edmunds and the mustang out performed both of the cars, but the mustang just squeaked by the Camaro in the G-pull.

I am not a fan of Mustangs and they are not bad at all, but I prefer the new Camaro or the Dodge Challenger. The Mustang was tested against the Dodge Challenger and Challenger was better at handling and better everything and the Camaro was even better! The Mustang still basically has the same outdated look. I’m sure I will get loads of **** replies for my comment…especially from the Ford loving ‘good ol boys.’

  13. 89stangfanon 30 Jan 2010 at 4:25 am

jeanorozco9, i admitt tht the camaro does have more hp thn the mustyang for about the same price but RUN THE NUMBERS…..the mustang will beat ur tank of a camaro anyday

  14. ZRider3591on 01 Feb 2010 at 8:14 am

yes but that’s with the track package. w/o it is .7 secs slower in the 1/4 and .6 secs slower in 0-60. the track package does change the axle ratio to a 3.73. a regular gt uses a 3.55. the 3.73 gives it more acceleration. and it only uses a 5 speed.

  15. mymustang1986on 01 Feb 2010 at 7:40 pm

no offence but isnt the mustang only like point 5 seconds slower in the quarter mile. and only has 315 hp. i will stipulate that im tired of the 4.6 its im a pushrod engne guy myself
