sorry bro, theres hundreds of other people on here that think that car was made in 1967, when there was no such thing, those people irritate me for some reason.

  7. epluribusunomon 24 Jan 2010 at 9:00 pm

theyre all kit cars dumbass, they didnt have an original, they were all built for the movie

  8. redneckdude4on 26 Jan 2010 at 5:12 am

i have respect for this movie. when they did the jump, they jumped a kit car, not the original. still stupid to trash a nice car, but better than ruinung the original car.

Thats true they could do that after their done with the car but then again maybe ford and etc…buy the materials or make deals with the studio that if they are going to junk them they have to bring them back to get recycled. It would be nice though if they trash anything pass 80 they gave it out. I wouldn’t mind taking a classic mustang. I’d take that over the new one any day.

Well, it makes more sense, yes, and is more economical, yes, but i think if they now are so ”forced” to trash american steel, can’t they just then give the trashed cars to young car interrested guys/girls or to enthusiast? I think it’s a better fate to crashed cars, instead of going to the junk yard :(

  15. Randomkaozon 06 Feb 2010 at 5:27 am

but its no much more easier to trash cheap american cans then those super expensive cars. Think about if you only had 1million bucks to buy cars to blow up. you can only get like 7 ferraris but if you shop ford you can blow up 100 brand new 500Gts and still have money to leave the stuido in your lambo.

  19. kyle44422on 13 Feb 2010 at 4:34 am

    what movie??

  20. hi5lo2on 15 Feb 2010 at 2:23 pm

I’m just glad some cars are saved by private restoration companies.

  21. Eddiemotoron 18 Feb 2010 at 3:44 pm

If they trashed cars like Ferraris or Lambos, it would be a hell of a storm against Hollywood, so they don’t do that, instead they trash cars like these, much ”cheaper”, money hungry asses, i wish i can get the name of the idiot who decides things like destroying honorable american steel, and ”tell” him one thing or another -.-

I’d rather see a scrapped Ferrari or a ricer, than a scrapped 74 Duster or any other common american car.

How about scrapping ricers instead? Much more fun imo.

The original movie 1973 is better !
    (as for me)

  23. BelayaArmiyaForeveron 24 Feb 2010 at 7:20 am

I think Hollywood is too cheap to go out and build $100K replicas when they can go out and trash real 1967-69 Fastbacks for $25-30K a piece. They have no preservation mentality. Just watch the latest Fast and Furious they destroyed 9 of those ultra rare 1972 Torinos and one was even a 4 speed with a 428. HOLLYWOOD ***** !!

  24. bloodriseron 26 Feb 2010 at 10:57 am

actually they were not the rare 67s the were replica 68s that they trashed

  25. ati600on 28 Feb 2010 at 9:00 am

You’re right, a simple scratch on a Mustang is a crime, destroying theme is more than that it’s sin.
